What is CBD?

Answer: Also short for cannabidiol, CBD is one of many molecules found in the cannabis plant.

What is CBD oil?

What are Cannabinoids?

Answer: Cannabinoids are a diverse group of compounds found naturally in the human body and the cannabis plant. Phytocannabinoids (technical term for cannabinoids found in plants) are magical because they can imitate the endocannabinoids (technical term for cannabinoids found in the body) which are produced naturally in the body.

What is the ECS or endocannabinoid system?

Answer: ECS is a system of neurotransmitters and cell membrane receptors. The central nervous system produces neurotransmitters such as endocannabinoids which interact with cannabinoid receptors on cell membranes to adjust physiological processes at a cellular level.

What is hemp seed oil?

Answer: Hemp seed oil is produced by pressing the plant’s seeds and does not contain any cannabinoids.

What is the difference between CBD and hemp?

Answer: CBD is a molecular compound found in the cannabis plant. Hemp is a strain of the cannabis plant grown for fiber and food.

What are terpenes?

Answer: Produced in the flower clusters of the cannabis plant, terpenes are a class of diverse organic compounds that give cannabis its aromatic variety. Recognized as safe for human consumption by the Food and Drug Association, terpenes are used in a wide variety of food and cosmetic products.

What does “broad spectrum” mean?

Answer: Broad spectrum means the CBD product contains a combination of terpenes, cannabinoids and other beneficial compounds found in the hemp plant. Remedy Tree broad spectrum oils have had the trace amounts of THC removed.

What does “full spectrum” mean?

Answer: Full spectrum means the CBD product retains the trace amounts of THC present in the hemp plant. THC must always be less then 0.3%.

What are the benefits of taking broad spectrum CBD products?

Answer: Broad spectrum products are more beneficial than non-broad spectrum products because they include cannabinoids, terpenes, and other beneficial compounds found in the hemp plant. This is known as the entourage effect.  This helps create greater effects than CBD alone. Remedy Tree products contain broad spectrum CBD oil and effect everyone differently, your results may vary.

Do your products contain THC?

Does CBD get me high?

Answer: No. CBD is not psychotropic, meaning that it does not cause a high.

Will CBD oil show up on a drug test?

Under normal circumstances, our products are not expected to produce a positive result for THC consumption through testing conducted using industry-standard sophisticated testing methods.
